Started a diet last Friday called the Military diet and weighed in at 283lbs since then I weighed in today at 271 wow a 12lb loss in one week I am so happy this has worked for me. Yes I know this is not a long term diet but I will do this for a couple of weeks.
Maybe this time it will be different for me since I am focusing on me.I hate being overweight. How many have or is struggling with this?I also need to pick up the pace of exercising. I walk bit around outside but would like to do more.
It has been a week since I have had any carbonated sodas I am also amazed at that I have been drinking a cup or two of tea but also been drinking lots of water.will post next week on my weigh in til then, Have a great week!

I have not heard of the Military diet, what does this consist of, I have tried the airline stewardess diet, it worked, but it was temporary weight always managed to come back. I hope you do really good with this diet, are you exercising with it?

I struggle with weight lose too. I have lost a lot of weight over the years but I have lost motivation lately. It's so hard in the winter to eat right and exercise. I hope to pick it back up since it's been getting nicer out.
Good luck. Looking forward to hearing about your journey.

that's great that you've lost 12 pounds. It is hard to lose weight when you've got all that food in front of ya. LOL So, I work at Sonic Restaurant, and it's hard to look at that food. I nibble on some chicken every once in awhile, and nibble on some fries too. But, I only get one burger before I leave. So, at least I can get by with one burger! LOL Hope you enjoy your day, and good luck to you on your diet!

Wow! Though I've never heard military diet before, it seems like an effective one considering the 12lb loss. I also need to lose weight. I love your determination. In due time, you'll have your ideal weight.
