There is this street boy,16 years old, who was being interviewed on camera and it happened that he talked pure, understandable English. It was very impressive. All he wanted is to find a way to go back home. The next day, which was yesterday, some well wishers picked him up cleaned him and embarked on a 3 hours journey to get him home. Thats something to celebrate When they got home the worse happened. The parents rejected him and said he can go back to where he came from. They were so angry but as parents they should have been happy he is back. When he run away from home he did not want to go to school and thats what they were angry at. At the end the boy had to be brought back to the streets but he was taken and put in an education centre as he said he wanted to be a journalist.

His future looks bright despite their rejection Imagine the mother was saying that were it not for the respect to the people who had brought him they could not have even let him through the gate

It looks to me now that he is better off in that center seeing what kind of parents he has.

@marlina I agree with you. They really hurt his feelings even though he could not say it openly. He just kept quiet as they hailed words angrily

I can not understand parents like that. I am glad he is in an education centre where he can learn and be himself.

Oh dear. That is unusual. One would think the parents would be happy but no they were not. I guess he is going to have to make it on his own. He is still a child really.

That is very, very sad. I only hope they don't live to regret their decision.

Such a pity that he has to undergo this kind of journey and I didn't understand as well why his parents rejected him in coming back home? Such a shallow reason because he didn't want to go to school? Which is more important to them school or their son? If I were a parent, I still will choose my son. Good there were some good Samaritans to put him in an education centre, and hoping he be able to finish his studies in the future. My advice to this boy is just be strong and steadfast in your faith and everything will fall into place in God's own time and plan. Never cease praying for God's mercy and love and your dream in becoming a journalist will do come true someday. God bless!
