Last night my daughter and niece were at Kids Night Out at the church but my son didn't want to go. He and I stayed home building a lego set. We had borrowed a movie from the library called Lego Brickumentary. I thought it was going to be pretty boring but it wasn't bad. The history behind legos is interesting and the things people created were amazing to view. It makes me want to go to look around at a lego convention.

Are the controversies about Lego featured on that documentary? Back to the topic, I remember having a female cousin who wanted to be an engineer, well she did became one. When we were kids she made me cry because she used Super Glue on my lego bricks she is so proud of her creation. Her dad just bought me new bricks and they kept the glued lego because they were so proud of it.

Oh wow lol I would have just taken a photo of it rather then glue it all together and ruin them. Thats good that her father bought you new ones since she ruined yours. That is awesome that your cousin did become what she wanted and engineer. What controversies about Legos do you mean?

@CaptAlbertWhisker Gosh I don't remember hearing about that in the video. I may have to watch it again and pay closer attention. I know that two or three times the building where legos were made burned down. They almost went bankrupt before they ever made it big. How wonderful for them that they prevailed through everything and are now so popular.

I think that Lego blocks are the best toy ever invented.

They are really fun to play with. My son pretty much built the whole truck and tow dolly by himself. I did the car. He has so many lego sets. We have many of them displayed on shelves in his room. He takes them down now and then and plays with them.

At least he had fun, and got to relax learning new things. I remember a kid playing with lego.

I had a little bit of legos when I was young but nothing compared to what my son has. The sets he has are really neat and deluxe. I remember going to a friends house and she had built a bunch of things out of legos and I thought it was odd as I always assumed they were toys for boys mostly. I love that they now have legos that are specifically girl themed but I used to buy my daughter all kinds of legos I think now I understand they are gender neutral toys.

The lego movie was really cute. I took my children to the theaters to see it when it came out. Have your children watched this Lego Brickumentary yet? If they are very little it will probably not keep their attention like the movie did but it is pretty interesting for adults and my son who is 8.
