Oh Lord, stuck in Lodi....

Or not so stuck. Dearra wanted an outing today. Naomi had suggested an aquarium or a bird sanctuary, but there aren't any all that nearby. Lodi has a park with a Japanese garden and a zoo, so we went there. First we went to breakfast at IHop, then we took Naomi's leftovers home and dropped Cary off (party pooper). We drove to the park, which was pretty large. It had two large play areas, a "frisbee golf" course, kiddie rides, a museum and the garden and zoo. We walked through the garden first (the picture is from there), and then went and saw the zoo. The tea house in the garden was setting up for a bridal shower. Looked like a really nice place for a wedding. The zoo was a nice little zoo, small, but interesting. Wrong time of year though, as the cafe was closed. Afterward, we went for lunch, and then drove the back way home past Rancho Seco, a decommissioned nuclear plant. Incredibly beautiful road. Nice day..
