Only you can answer this question, but I don't think there's anything odd wanting to spend some "me time".
I do this often, I use the down time to relax and chill out. As interaction takes energy, and sometimes I'm just not up for that.

there are moments were we need space and prefer to be alone to assess ourselves until were ready to talk again. i think it's normal.

Everyone likes to have some time to themselves once in awhile. After all, it's not being alone that's lonely but being surrounded by the wrong people that make you feel alone! If you're sad, remember that broken crayons love to color! (You know, as in your heart may be broken but you can still bust out so colorful possibilities! I'm bad at explaining myself,lol) ^_^
