Today is Public Sleeping Day now you have the opportunity to sleep in public like you have always wanted to. Do you want to sleep on a park bench, at the beach, at your place of employment, on the bus or subway or is this something you already do? I will sleep in my chair or in my bed. I hope you have a peaceful and restful sleep wherever you sleep today.

I'll pass on this one; I much prefer to sleep in my own private bedroom.

It is my first time to hear about this day. I don't think I will sleep in public since it is not so proper and I am afraid others will take photos and then upload online

@youless Some people would take photos and load to the internet so if that is what worries you never fall asleep in public.

I know that once when I was working we had a very boring meeting and I was already tired as I had not had enough sleep and I started to fall asleep in that meeting. My friend who was sitting next to me said it was obvious I was trying to fall asleep.

@Marcyaz How'd you fall asleep? Did you hold a notebook up to your face like you were reading the meeting paperwork? Hehe

I never slept in a public place. As much as I wanted to, I long for my bed.

@rina110383 I have seen people sleeping on a bus and in an office with head on desk. Yeah the bed is the best place to sleep.

@rina110383 I think they need to sleep more at night then there would be no sleeping on the bus or at their desk.

@Marcyaz They really lack sleep to the point that they get too comfortable sleeping on the bus or on their office desk.

@Jessicalynnt Good that you can wake up in time to go back to work and it must really be a comfortable chair to be able to sleep in it.

No ..., I can't say I have ever wanted to sleep in public..... I often see people asleep on trains or at airports, I don't think I'd feel comfortable doing that....

@sueznewz2 I have seen people sleep at airports also and I think it is amazing the places where people will sleep. Not sure if I could do that but I guess if you are sleepy enough you would be able to sleep just about anyplace.

NO! haha! This can NOT be a day! What the heck! lol you always catch me off guard with these days and it makes me laugh. This is another day I've not heard about. I have only fallen asleep once for probably 20 seconds or less in school. I laid my head down on my desk and just fell asleep. No one really noticed though so that was good lol

My mother always sleeps on a bus journey if the journey is more than half an hour. She does not do it when she is travelling alone. She admits it is the best sleeping experience.
