Earnings from ebook always fluctuate. Recently, an ebook contract fetched me good money. I wrote 3000 words on a given topic and delivered as a word file and earned $50. My standard rate is 1 cent for one word, which means I want $10 for 1000 words. Based on my rate, these two ebooks paid me well. However, this does not happen always. I have also written an ebook of 6000 words for as little as $25.
