Throwback!

Session Road, Flower Festival 2015
Philippines
March 1, 2016 4:53am CST
I posted in one of my discussion last time, how we are celebrating the Flower Festival in my hometown. I really can't believe how many tourists are in the city because of this event, were having a heavy traffic and there's also the garbage issue. Its about to end this first week of March, and I'm excited because I always look forward to the closing ceremony wherein they showcase synchronized fireworks display. The fireworks are placed in 5 different areas of the city, and will start simultaneously. Anyway, I was browsing old photos and find this one which was taken at the Flower Festival last year and I wanted to share it to you guys. This photo is courtesy of Igorot Pride.

@abrielle28 I went there once ... for my honeymoon!! That was my first out of town adventure to the north. My husband wants to go there sooner rather than later... hopefully after the festival because I know it's too crowded there at the moment - imagine combining local and foreign tourists in a small city.

@funkeyguhl yes that's so true, i think there's no space left for the local people.LOL just kidding, i hope you would definitely visit, we have a very cold climate now, good for people to cool off specially if you came from a more warmer termp city.

Flower festival is in Baguio right? I always wanted to go there but I am afraid of the long landtrip. I search through the internet before and I think your airport is not functional or only caters charter planes as of the moment. I hope i could visit your place someday as well as Sagada.
