I bought my medicine twice!

I went to my doctor today and she gave me a prescription to buy my medicine. I bought it on a nearby pharmacy and went on with my work, but when I was about to leave and punch out. i noticed that my medicine was gone. Most likely it fell off my pocket. Because of that I have to retrace my steps and think of the possible places it could have fell. To no avail I couldnt find it. So I ended up buying the same medicine on the same drugstore and notifying them that if someone would attempt to have it refunded they should contact me because I know it the receipt is still attached to it. I dont know if its just plain badluck or my carelessness or both. It was a tiring day for me.
Had it happened to you before? Having lost a thing and going all the trouble to find it, where you able to find it or was it never gone all along? What did you do?

I remember that one time, I thought i didn't get my sachet of coffee. only to find out that it was misplaced some were in the house by me. so i went back and bought it again, with out them noticing it.

@dazzledlady yeah i should have apologize but then some knew i can be forgetful with my groceries, like every one else

Ever? Like not about medicine. I think you have a good memory to be able to recall where all those things are located.

That is true, actually while I was looking for the medicine I bought I was hoping that would be the case but its not. :(

i lost a 500 pesos before. i tried to retrace my steps but i never found it. i guess its because of me being careless. after that ive been extra careful with my things specially money.
