I want to visit my elder brother in Manchester, UK, before his bachelor life comes to an end. What tips should I take into consideration when I'm preparing for a week long journey?

If you are staying with your brother, you do not have to bring much. You can ask him what he likes you to bring for him. Just take along a windbreaker, and when the weather turns cold, you can borrow the warm clothing for him. I think he will ask you to bring along some paste or sauce that is hard to find in London.

Well me and my brother are almost the same height and weight, so his some of his old clothes might be enough. And I'll buy some for myself

Haven't been to any country outside India or the U.A.E I'm used to tropical climates. Do I need warm clothes in May? It'll be warm then wouldn't it. My tentative schedule is between 22nd May and 12th June

@HarishSubramanian it won't be that warm here then. You'll need a few jumpers and a waterproof coat as it rains quite a bit here. Apart from that I can't give you any tips as if your brother lives here I'm sure you'll be well looked after. I hope you have a good time here as it's a nice place but just a little colder than you'll be used to
