Weird Thought I Had the Other Day.

Ok so the other day I randomly got thinking about colours. Why? I have no clue. But it led me to realize that red mixed with white makes pink, but if you mix blue with white it becomes light blue and yellow mixed with white just makes a lighter yellow. So really there is only one primary colour that makes a different colour when mixed with white.
Weird eh?

So pink is just lighter red, the difference is it has a specific name, whereas blue and yellow is simply called light blue or yellow.

I know but that is so weird! My boyfriend just said that too. I responded with well why does pink get a special name and light blue and light yellow don't!

@CVanBoerdonk I searched and pink is actually a name of a plant that has flowers with that color.
