Don’t you love it when you can’t place a track you’ve heard
I had to go to a meeting this morning and when I got home I had this track in my head, and could I place what it was or sung it. I guess I must have heard it while I was out somewhere.
Well after about 2 hours I gave in and decided I would try and find out what the track was and who sung it, I didn’t even have a full line going around in my head.
After about an hour I finally got the track. I had the words wrong and the decade I thought it was from.
The track is by Adele and “Rolling in the deep”.
I think its a very powerful and soulful track.

It is annoying when you can't think of a song's name. We all seem to have those days and for me they are happening more often than I would like.

Thank you, so was I it was becoming more annoying not knowing who sung it or was it was called even though I do know and heard it many times. I guess I'm having one of those days lol.

I often have this problem due to television adverts. A lot of operatic pieces are used, so when a new advert appears I often recognise the music.
Of course the advert stops before I can place the piece and the next advert distracts me, making it difficult to follow. It usually takes several appearances of the advert before I work out what it is.

More or less around 2006 I heard a song wich I liked, but by then I didn't know nothing of English, so I couldn't find it. But 8 years after, in 2014 after hearing it on the radio and looking for it, I got it! The song was "The Reason" by Hoobastank released in 2004.
