Reason behind earnings posting

Have you friends any idea about it, what is the main reason behind to this decision. If our show on our profile what will the benifit. Is there any negative effect in our earning our positive effect.

@divssri I've been reading a lot of comments on this subject ... some say 'if' that happens that they would probably give each person the option to turn on, turn off showing their earnings. As for myself, I've become tired of thinking about the earnings being shown ... it no longer matters to me :)
