Donald Trump is a Republican and not a fascist.

If you have studied fascist regimes in the past, you can make four arguments for why Donald Trump is a Republican and not a fascist. First, Trump's meaning is individualistic and lacks any collectivist element common to past fascist regimes in Italy and Germany, Second, Trump doesn't oppose democracy and is not advocating a dictatorship. Third, Trump doesn't support a fascist welfare state. Fourth and finally, most of Trump's positions are similar to other GOP candidates.

Yes, the man is controversial because he is not afraid to be politically correct.

He does seem to be more of an authoritarian one way or another and sure fascism would be a slippery slope for someone like a Donald Trump President . We would be essentially handing him keys to our nuclear arsenal. Same with Cruz. These guys seem to dangerous with that amount of power.

I personally feel that Trump's bark is going to be a lot worse than his bite.

well, people interpret way too easy. but I don't think he will know what to do when he becomes the president. it's a whole different arena when it comes to politics.

@Letranknight25 , I agree that real estate is different from politics. Trump will surround himself with good advisors.

The current occupant of the White House is far closer to fascist than Trump. Fine explanation. Say what you will about Trump, he is not a wannabe Mussolini.
