KIds Questions Make us Dumbfold

Have you been answer-less when kids asks you questions...common ones or uncommon ones... For some doubts..if they dont get a proper answer they go to their colleagues.... My 8 year old boy had real adult doubts and i was speechless.. then my mom said last day..she happened to hear him discuss the same with an older cousin who is his school mate Could somebody suggest ways to handle these....? If i answered him in the first place...he wouldn't have gone for the next person
