I don’t believe some people
I see people coming to My lot saying I’m going to earn $10 in a week, I there shaking my head, going yeah right I’d love to see you do it.
I’m not totally sure where these people come from or have the idea that they will earn big. Ok you can if you really wanted to earn $10 in a week however you will have to be very busy. Many people don’t understand that.
Oh it drives me silly when I see those people. I know full well that they won’t be here long or asking to why they haven’t or aren’t earning.
To earn you need to be active around the website, it's easy.
Rant over.

I suppose it's possible, you got what you did yesterday, you do that for a week and you'd hit 10. Out of curiosity on those days, how many discussions do you start?

@kevin1877uk 7 and I am at 3.43, lol. so yes, I think I shall up my number, maybe try for 2-3 a day and see how that goes. lol

Totally not it you earn 50 cents or a dollar a day you've put a lot of work into being here, I know I do and I do love being here and interaction with people.

@kevin1877uk The site has the same value for me. There are several friends here that accept my sense of humour in the manner it is intended, which makes the site good fun for me.

There are more than just me that does that kind of money but i enjoy being and the banter that we have and many other people I comment with. I think if with could do that than I wouldn't really be interested in the website. There is a good group of people I love to see around the website and it's those people that make the website for me.

@Asylum Totally, I wonder that other people think when they see use commenting back and forth, I mean look at last night. Not sure of all the comment we made but it was fun and totally enjoyed myself. You have me laughing out loud. You can't get that anywhere else. I like to have fun and do enjoy being here.

Very true. I think that ten dollars a week is an unreal expectation, though there may be a few who do it.

Lol yeah especially someone new. If they are coming to earn big time then they need to re-think because its not going too happen, unless admin changes things to which I can't see them doing.

The amount of people who are active on MyLot is significantly smaller than what was on Bubblews. Also, when I wrote for Associated Content, I could get over 100 views on many of my articles. That is not the case here. Most of my views are well under 10. I don't see how it is possible to earn $10 a week here. $1 to $2 seems to be the upper end with most people.

You need to be active around the website to earn, posting alone won't earn you much. Yesterday I earned 1.36 and the day before 1.44

@kevin1877uk It is possbile maybe, but i would have to make well over a dollar everyday. It all depends on the interaction too, as if people don't interact with you, then there is no way that it can be done. I am thankful for the interaction that I have with othes though, as it has all paid off, and I received over $1 each day for three days.I will have to interact like crazy today, to make up for yesterday, since I wasn't here.

@rosekiss Just go and comment on all the new posts, people don;t have to interact with you but if they do it is better.
I guess it all depends on the time you have to be here to the amount you are wanting to earn. I know many people can't always be here that much unlike me who can be here for hours a day.

I think I saw that post as well. It is possible to calculate a mathematical formula to earn that much but this site depends on interaction, and if people don't reply to your remark for 14 hours what can you do? I have seen similar comments on other sites and the person disappears after 2 weeks.

Yes I guess it is possible to do and work it out if you so wanted to. Many people join and then don't do anything, which always surprises me. Maybe they found out it not for them and then don't do anything else.

@kevin1877uk Every site will go through that scenario. I think your issue is that they should come on, learn the rules, be good, obey the rules get to learn it instead of making meaningless challenges.

I expect $10 per week is doable for some people but sort of pointless in a way unless they don't have much else to do.
You'd have to be pretty active to get that sort of money.
On the old site I've made around that a few times but not often and it took A LOT of time
Maybe in other countries it'd be worth it but here you could make more spending the time walking the streets and picking up coins
Get even a little cleaning job and you'd make probably quadruple that in one short shift.
I've always seen the money as a bonus and certainly not a reason to be here.

I agree with you same here, money here is a bonus.
Yes it is doable and you do need to be very active in and around the website, to which i am myself. I can earn 1.30-1.5 a day but I do have time to be here.

I've had a dollar on occasions but mostly between 20 and 50 cents and that's ok with me.
I know I could significantly up my income quite easily but I'm happy with where I'm at

You either have to have friends or make friends easily. You are well liked and that is why you do as well as you do. I do okay, but I am often absent. I am also sure that you give as much as you receive as far as interaction goes. Totally new people here may get disappointed easily if that is what they are expecting.

Well, perhaps that's the hope for these people. Later, they might find out it's not so possible to do that in mylot. Moreover, they might not be the people who like to spend time interacting and earning not A LOT.
There are just different kinds of people. I try to avoid them.

When you stop and think about the hours you'd have to put in to earn $10 a week, it works out to pennies an hour. At some point, it would stop being fun and the interest would wane. Not to mention the difficulty of coming up with that much engaging content while responding to and commenting on others posts.

I get the frustration you feel but it isn't totally impossible i suppose it could be done there are people who have made a dollar or more a day and sometimes that much consecutively in a few days in a row. The best thing to do is just not contribute their earnings by not reading their post and upsetting yourself.
