~Update For Today On Julian~

Julian At The Hospital
Valdosta, Georgia
March 6, 2016 12:57pm CST
So the doctor just came in a little bit ago and said Julian will be staying overnight again. They want to monitor him and make sure no fevers develop. I was hoping we would be going home today but that is not the case. They said it definitely is the antibiotics causing the diarrhea and vomiting. I am really grateful we paid our bills early this month so we don't have to worry about that. However, my husband has missed a ton of work since Julian has been in and out of the hospital. So I am asking for financial prayer for the daily things such as gas and food while we are in here. That has been a little bit of a struggle for us since no money is coming in at the moment.

O my poor little guy sure is going through a lot in his young life. At least if they know it is the antibiotics they will know to give him something else. It is difficult when you have a child in and out of the hospital but the Lord will take care of you and the family.

@Marcyaz Yes he has been through too much. =( They are actually not taking him off the medicine. They just added a probiotic with it to make it easier on his stomach. I do know God will take care of us.=)

@LovingMyBabies It is good that now you will have some peace of mind with him being put on a probiotic along with the medication that was causing such a problem. How are the other children holding up through all this?

@Marcyaz They are doing good. They easily adapt to all situations. They understand right now Julian needs to come first because of his health and that we love them all the same. Thank God we have good kids. =)

How are the other kids doing? Where are they? Sure glad you know for sure what caused the vomiting and diarrhea. Maybe you could make some sandwiches to bring up to the hospital with you. These things always happen when it is unexpected so you don't have savings or a plan in place.

@celticeagle They have been up at the hospital visiting with us up here every day. Then at night my husband takes them home with him. They are worried about their brother but otherwise they are doing good. Yeah, we definitely didn't have anything saved because we just moved into our house, bought our minivan and some furniture we needed. Definitely not a good time for this-but then again no time is good for hospital visits. Gas is our biggest expense, which is no longer cheap.

I thought Julian came home the other day. Is this a new admission today? Or, am I confused? Poor little guy and poor parents. So sorry about all this.

@akalinus We were worried about dehydration which is why we took him in. They gave him some fluids just to be safe but they said he was still pretty hydrated.

@LovingMyBabies Yes, of course. Antibiotics can have those side effects. I know it has been horrible for you and the family. They can monitor him there. Praying he gets over this quickly and feels better. You too.

Poor little guy. It seems like he has been in and out quit a bit since hw has been born. I am so sorry. Not having money coming in is hard too, and I will pray that the Lord takes care of your finances, and that he gets them paid for you, as he can do anything. God bless you and your whole family.

I posted you before about when my grandson was born and we spent days in the hospital. In the hospital he was in Philadelphia, Pa. There was a very great room for the parents and grandparents of the babies to chill out in and rest and eat. There was food in the small kitchen and computers in another room and washers and dryers in another room. This was all for the families that were there a lot for their little ones. There were nice big chairs and blankets and pillows as some people stayed over night. Some people like us were from far away and we could stay there for no charge and eat any food and use the computers, etc. Ronald McDonald House was the donor for all of this and you might check it out if there is such an area in that hospital that can help you. Please keep us posted and god Bless all of you.

@ramapo17 Oh I so wish the hospital here was like that! They had one couch and one chair in the room. I slept on the couch but it was very small, only room for me. The rooms themselves are very tiny. They brought around a snack tray but no actual food to eat. That is awesome that Ronald Mcdonald's house paid for all of that! I am sure that helped so much. I will look into that, thank you. I will definitely keep everyone updated.

@LovingMyBabies Please let us know as you need all the rest you can get too. It is not easy going through all this. You also need to keep up your strength so you will be in good shape when you take your baby home.
