Altruistic love?

Altruistic love is the best and the most idealistic form of love that exists. Altruism means selflessness or doing something for someone without giving a second thought or thinking about any sort of reinforcement. So, Altruistic love is a form of love in which a person does things for someone selflessly and will always do no matter what without any expectations from the other side. This kind of love has a very little existence in today’s materialistic world since most of us first think about how something can benefit us and then only we people do it. But that would then be a “Selfish Love” and not a “Selfless Love”. Altruistic love is not just seen in true love cases but also in true friendship and sibling’s relationships. There are some people for whom we do a lot and we do because we love them. By doing something for them we don’t want anything materialistically but by doing something for them, we feel an inner satisfaction and happiness that is much more than any joy in the entire universe. “Altruistic love is rare but when it exists, there can’t be anything better than that.” Do you believe in such love ?

Ya I do believe in such love though I have not seen much of it in today's money minded world.

@Priya1294 Yes the world is money minded but altruistic love is more about an individual I guess. Lack of patience, need to move on can hamper altruistic love.

Yes its very difficult, because the moment expectation factor comes in altruist love takes back seat. You need that passion and intensity to be altruistic. I had been altruistic once but it becomes painful too.
