What are your goals?

l have been working towards immigrating to a warmer climate for some time now.
If im honest with myself, I know it will take me years to achieve that, years that l do not have, life is too short.
After doing the math, lm hoping to move end of the year and be in a warmer climate all year round. My joints are terribly painful in the winter sometimes it`s hard to walk a few meters.
lf l stay healthy, then l should be able to live with the little l have for years, it will not be luxury life, but l will be living pain-free.
What are your goals and how do you plan to achieve them?

My joints hurt me a lot too. That´s why I try to save money every year to be in a warmer climate a couple of weeks. But I´m too old to live elsewhere.

I admire your goal Minisam. I am sorry you suffer with the joint pain.
My goal is something I keep in mind each day.
For some reasons, it may never happen, but I never put it out of my mind.
I too want to go somewhere else.
I wish you much luck in achieving your goal, though I know this is hard work to accomplish.

I would also like to move to a warmer climate. I'm only 27 but suffer with arthritis in both knees and wrists. Bein a care manager my work can be very full on and on cold days I struggle.
I worry my health will effect my ability to work in the years too come, my goal is to keep going no matter what pain my body gives me. After all there is always someone worse off - and I'm lucky to have the oppertunity I have.

To be happy, have good friends, job, relations, surrounding. Plus I like to make list with basic life goals every year, this motivates you and gives you a vision, purpose, you give more effort..it's good ;d

You have to check out the humidity too.
In my country, where it is hot and humid all the time, some people get aches before it starts to rain.
I think you have to look into the insurance matter too.
If your insurance does not allow overseas claim, that will be tough.

Where are you hoping to immigrate to? I dislike the cold UK weather.

@miniam Surely you would need to get all the paperwork involved sorted out which will take time to do. You can't just go and live in a country, well you can I did it in the US be had to come back to the UK every so often.

A warmer climate probably will help your joints. I know mine bother me all winter especially my knees when it gets really cold

That is a shame that the winter makes your joints so painful. I hope you're able to move somewhere warmer soon.
