If You Remember Your Dreams Then You Most Likely Not Sleeping Well!!

I have heard and read many times that those that are frequently able to remember their dreams are most likely not in a deep sleep and therefore not getting a good nights sleep. I for one can vouch for this as every night a remember my dreams but that also comes with the downside of always feeling tired! I love that I can remember my dreams most nights as they can be quite interesting and entertaining to recall, but I also feel quite ill because of the lack of real deep sleep. Do you find that if you wake up remembering your night dreams that you feel more tired that day?

Not all the times, but some dreams make me feel tired and I do not know the reason.

I love being able to remember my dreams, but it really does make me feel tired throughout the day as I feel I have not slept!

@gudheart Do you only feel tired when you remember the dreams? Do you always feel rested when you do not remember?

I don't sleep well but don't know if it's my dreams or just a fact of life as I get older. I usually only remember the dreams I have closer to the early morning when it's time to get up.

There are many factors that could be at play. But if you remember your dreams vividly it could be a factor,

@gudheart you are right some dreams don't let us sleep but if it's unapproachable and seems unreal we should move on, rather try hard to get that

I knew I had a dream but I often find it hard to recall the details. I guess I'm having selective amnesia when it comes to dreams. I feel mentally tired because I can't remember them=)

@rina110383 It is fun to remember them, but wondering if it is the reason I am always tired.

@gudheart Yes, it is. I envy people who could remember and post the details here.

I sleep in cycles and so I don't always get a full night's sleep. I haven't remembered my dreams for years now. Had two bad hits on the head and I think that is why.

I remember a lot of my dreams. Sometimes I am tired and sometimes not. A lot of them are scary. Others give me good feelings. One night, I dreamed about small white rabbits running around my feet. It was a happy dream. I don't know if my dreams make me tired.

Oh yea, nightmares the ones we want to forget all about. I am lucky in a sense I get to remember most of mine. Just a shame it could be affecting my sleep.

Stephen King turned his nightmares into books worth mega bucks. I don't like horror stuff and do not want to dream it. I do though. Last night, I dreamed that millions of people were dying of a plague. I was upset but not about that. In my dream, I messaged Swagbucks and nobody answered. That is what upset me. I wish I would not dream stuff like that.

I didn't sleep well yesterday and had a lot of dreams too in between. But I cannot remember any of them now. Needless to say I'm exhausted sitting at my workplace now. Is it possible to really remember most dreams?

Its also said that if you see yourself dying in the dream, then you will surely have a long life.

I had blood test and alsorts done trying to figer out what's wrong - you may of just solved my mystery.

l read somewhere that the dreams you can remember are those just before you wake up, that although your mind may let you think/believe you dreamt in in the middle of the night, it`s just before you wake up.
