Now that it's not freezing...

Now that the temperature isn't 20 below freezing, it feels like it is boiling hot.
Perhaps only a Canadian could feel "hot" if the temperature is plus 2?
Perhaps I am just wishing for the rest of the snow to melt so I can head back to the lake and getting lost in thoughts of summer...
But really there must be an end to winter, right?
After all, we're in March, right?
I say this, almost as if I have a fear that winter would not end-in some winters past, that is almost exactly what it felt like.
My heart has begun to race...
It can only be a few more weeks, right?
A week ago today we were having a storm and were literally snowed in-and I fear that in a couple more weeks, we will have to deal with the reality.
This is Canada.
And as much as I would like to think, winter is not over yet.

The weather this year has been so unpredictable. One day we have snow the next its 60. It is crazy. I am not complaining as I really enjoyed having a mild winter and not much snow. There literally was snow a few days ago and today it is 68. It is going to get warmer as the day goes on. I am going to go open the windows and let the fresh air in. My house is 60 inside. I want it to warm up without turning the heat on. I need to get the smell of fuel oil out of the house as well.

Aw, I am sorry you fear winter will not end, but, it will. And, uh, yeah, plus 2 is sooo NOT hot :o . Here I am doing a happy dance because we finally have some gorgeous cooling rain falling, it is bliss after a searingly hot summer @HebrewGreekStudies , I hope spring will soon begin for you.
