Have you had any favorite subject when you were just a student? I have been tutoring school children for three years now and I noticed how each of them performed better and participate actively when the discussion is about their favorite subject. I don't have any particular subject to be considered as my favorite but I must admit that there were some subjects which is not interesting for me.

I like Math too. You don't have to memorize a lot except for the formulas.

@AkoPinay true to that. But in terms of teaching I find it easier to teach math also.

Yes, definitely my favourites were: Music, Geography, Computer class, Phys-ed (gym we called it, at times, especially when we were younger). My least favourite classes were: Math and French, some years Math was alright if I had a good teacher who could explain it well to me though! :)

Here in ou country, those subjects are under the English subject. There is also a counterpart of those in a subject regarding our own language.

English, Mathematics, Science, History, Drawing (Art/Craft) are/were my favorite subjects. I hated Civics, Geography and Economics. They were sooooo boring. I tutor kids too.

My favorite subjects then were Math, English, Physics and Chemistry. I didn't enjoy the rest of the Sciences.

I loved math. Unlike English and Science, you could obtain a perfect score in your exams, and the marking schemes for tests and exams were very objective.
