lol At first when I read this, before opening it all the way. I am thinking, pink ketchup what is she talking about? lol Then I read a bit more and I'm like ohhhh okay. I understand now. lol
We do the same thing here. Its the best fry dip ever!!
I can't think of anything else though that we mix with ketchup. My husband does add some mustard sometimes into the fry dip, but other then that, I can't think of a thing.

My 5 yr old son didn't know what to call it, so we started calling it Pink Ketchup. Cause then we knew that he wanted it mixed. There are times when he doesn't want it mixed. LOL
Glad to know we are not the only family. LOL
Thought I was teaching my kids bad habits. ha ha

My mother used to put ketchup in the mayonaiise for our tuna sandwich. My husband adds a little ketchup to his mayonaiise when he makes salmon. Guess they are one in the same.

We do the same thing, only we use regular mayo. I LOVE Miracle Whip, so I'll have to try it!! Thanks for the tip!!

That's interesting! LOL.
Well, I really don't like Miracle Whip or Mayo, so I don't think I would like, "Pink Ketchup".
Its cute though! Who made it up and do you ever get tired of it? I never get tired of just PLAIN ketchup!!!

When I want a nice salad dressing, I will mix ketchup and mayo together. I don't care for Miracle whip. I use it also as a spread on a cold cut sandwitch. Blessings, M&M

My niece started doing this when she was 4 or 5, and she still does it- she's 18 now. She won't just put both ketchup and miracle whip on something; they have to be literally mixed up in a little bowl. She does this for anything that you would put ketchup on, including dipping her fries in it. If she goes into a restaurant, she will ask for ketchup and a small bowl of miracle whip (if they don't have miracle whip, she'll settle for mayo). I never cared for it- it is too creamy and sweet for me. I'll take plain ketchup any day.

I try not to eat ketchup because of all the sugar in it, But when I do have to use it I mix it with ranch! It is good!
And actually if you put a little relish in your pink ketchup it would be Thousand Island dressing. That is how I used to make it homemade for my salads.

I mix ketchup with mayonaise. It started out purely accidentally, with them being side by side but then they seemed to migrate together et voila!

I certainly don't have pink ketchup. I loathe mayo and mayo-like products.
If I have a hot dog or hamburger, then I'll probably have ketchup and barbeque sauce. If I have french fries or chicken nuggets, it'll be BBQ sauce or sweet and sour sauce with ketchup.
