I'm a good pet parent

Not the best, but not the worst.
I keep my dogs in a fenced yard, they have food and water. Maybe I don't get them to the vet to get their toenails trimmed as often as they need it, but I don't let them get sick without getting them to the vet.
I keep my cats indoors... well, except for the one that drove us crazy and we let her out, but she's got her shots and she comes and goes as she pleases during the day, we try to keep her in at night.
Again, they may not get the best food, but they also don't have dollar store food. They have water.
They have as much attention as they want, for the ferals, that means none. I'm fortunate that right now the 3 very feral ones are still youngish, and haven't needed much treatment. And they are fixed.
All the cats and dogs are fixed.
However, its a good thing that this kind of behavior is considered good as a pet parent, because I would be turned over to child protective services if I were to do this as a human parent...

You are awesome! I am a good pet parent also. I have 25 furry kids as I am a Doberman breeder here in the Philippines, Doberman, mini pinscher,a french bulldog and my 2 chihuahua. For me they are part of my family and I do take care of them like a human being also. My stress are gone away when I see them...

They don't get treats all the time, but they do get them. Generally the dogs get more attention from the roommate, she's the one who wanted the dogs. We both love cats, but other than feeding them (because I'm allergic to the food) and petting them and loving on them, I do the litter and keep track of the water, for both of the other species in the house.
