Well we are reaching the end of the work by the contractors, the first tile is on the shower wall, this is hot off the press as the contractor cuts a few tiles that will seen be added. The bathroom has changed out of all proportions now and I will be showing you all the finished job, once it is complete. I thought you would all like an update. What I can say is that the work has progressed well and now that the tiles are starting to go up it feels like we are almost there. They tell me it may not be finished till Saturday, but that is OK, maybe Saturday night we can be sleeping in our bedroom once again, but I suspect we shall stay put till Sunday when we get an opportunity to clean everything up. If I had not said before part of the reason for changing the bathroom was to make it an en-suite, we are adding a door from the bedroom and in the bedroom opening up the closet space.

It is Friday evening here already so you won't have much longer to wait. Hope it is everything you imagined.

The joy of time difference, the workmen haven't yet arrived for work here in EST but should be starting soon.

It is easier to do a house you don't live in.

I often think I want to hire someone to upgrade my bathrooms and kitchen, and then I think again... Maybe some day. Good luck with the finishes.
