peanuts, which I love spicy and fried with peelings on, is already prohibited by my neurologist-doctor because of some properties the peanuts give our bodies.

You mean it could make you arthritic ?

@ridingbet As to its being arthritic , that a common knowledge . But , it doesn't deter me from eating , because its delicious . So, we should eat peanuts as boiled so it will have lesser cholesterol since we don't use cooking oil .

@SIMPLYD yes, it does, and it has cholesterol too, as informed by my neurologist. even the deep-fried spicy peanuts which I love munching when I go home from centro, it is already out of my dietary regimen now, my lady.

@SIMPLYD no, i was diagnosed with goiter when i was too young. he told me to avoid eating the red part of it (i dont know what its called) so i somehow carry that advise til now even though i really dont think i have goiter. @Letranknight2015 cause my doctor said so.

as I looked closely into your picture, my lady, I noticed the small box of blue and white with some Chinese writings--- Is that white flower? I recall you prefer white flower than cold rubs when you have colds, right?

It's just easy . Just wash those peanuts , put them in a pot with water enough to cover them all , put salt and boil it until it is cooked . Just every now and then see if it's cooked already . So yummy and creamy to bite too.

I have recently tried a snack that is made by Sargentos. It has almonds, cranberries and pieces of cheese in the package. It's just enough for a light snack but it's really good and it does make you full for a while.

See, so you love boiled root crops too . Hubby and i also love those boiled corn and sweet potatoes . Sometimes , we would buy one and a half kilo , boil them , peel them and put then in a container and in the fridge , so anytime we we can eat it . We eat it instead of rice to go with viands . So healthy .

This post reminded me of my mom who used to bring me peanuts in my dormitory when I was still studying. I love boiled peanuts, they are inexpensive and a healthy snack. Not to mention, iit is good for the brain. Another inexpensive & healthy snack is boiled banana.

How sweet of your mom to always bring your peanuts . Well, she knows its one good food for the brain . And it being simply boiled makes it more healthier than those fried ones . I love boiled bananas or plantain too . But they have to be a bit ripe already . Boiled camote ? Do you like them too. I love it !

So you love it boiled only too . That way , there is no oil added , which somehow is what makes it unhealthy , unless it's canola oil / The best foods are the home cooked ones actually , as long as we don't use too much oil in cooking them .
