I have been traveling around the United States for 10 weeks by big rig with my husband and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the different landscapes. We stopped at home to pick up our mail and spend a couple of nights.Living in a big rig has become home to me and I am comfortable with the traveling.Unfortunately the cat sitter let my cat outside and she ran away and has not returned. My home seemed quite empty as before I left an older dog I had had passed over the rainbow bridge and I farmed my pigmy goats out to a friend.I did not realize how much my animals had become family to me until Ithey were not around.I will remember them all as beloved family members.Home is home and the truck is home too. They say home is where the heart is.I do believe that to be true.

I've always thought it would be kind of cool to marry a truck driver and travel the country in a big rig. I like traveling, but with a full time job I never have enough vacation time to see all the places I'd like to see.

It is kind of cool...I take a lot of pictures ,but there isn't much time to explore. An RV and full pockets would be a more fun way to travel.

My husband drives a transport truck and while we were living in CA I traveled many times with him up and down the state. I got to see lots of different areas of the state and it didn't cost me money for gas or even rooms, the company paid for that, so we just had to pay for our food. Since we moved to Colorado I have only got to go on one trip, I now have a full-time job it doesn't work out for me to go now.

I actually drove solo over the road 17 years ago, so being chauffered around isn't so bad.I missed a lot of the country driving at night.
