Hailing from Australia, The Church is best known for their shimmering 1988 hit "Under the Milky Way." What a lot of fans of that song don't know is that the band has been creating great alternative guitar rock for decades. Take "Myrrh," for instance. The lead song on their Heyday album, "Myrrh" is a dreamy rocker highlighted by the dual guitar play of Marty Willson-Piper and Peter Koppes, and bassist/vocalist Steve Kilbey's always pleasant voice. There is more to The Church than "Under the Milky Way." "Myrrh" is a great example of just how consistently great the band has been over the years.
From their 1985 LP "Heyday".

Yeah, that was my era as well. People make fun of the 80's, but a lot of great music came out of that decade.
