OK, don't tell the band teacher.
It's been quite a musical weekend. Last night I went to see "Legally Blond, the Musical" after I won tickets. Today I took my sister to see "An Irish Hooley". Tomorrow Tony and I are going to see "The Book of Mormon". And this afternoon I went to a High School band festival to see my son play.
They played quite well. My son was the only euphonium player, and he was right in front, so I sat on that side, and I could hear him quite well. It sounded to me like he was spot on, so I told him that on the way home. He said he had forgotten his music, so he was listening to the trombones to get the note. I asked if the band teacher had chewed him out, but apparently he didn't even notice. Scamp...
I wonder who he takes after...

That is always nice to see our kids in live school productions. I have fond memories of that when my kids were younger.

The acorn does not fall far from the tree...or is it apple. Well at least he pulled it off.

Reminds me of the time I went to English class, and didn't realize it was the day we were to take a test on a play that I had forgotten to read. First half of the class, I read the play, second half I took the test.
