It's Official- Spring is my favourite!

I always used to say my favourite season was Fall- with it's beautiful colours and crisp cool outdoor feel it was lovely. But it has a huge downside- Winter. So I faced it this year that even though we don't always get a wonderful Spring- the thought of it's arrival fills me with joy! And no other season does that! It has Summer as the next act and that is an upside. Also how about the exciting prospect of all those gorgeous Spring flowers? And I even love the warm rain- so it really is the all round winner! What's your favourite Season?

I love fall, the crisp cool weather, the colors the breeze. Spring is usually way too wet for me.

@MarymargII I don't like the heat of summer so it is my least favorite season. I can put on more clothes but there is only so much I can take off!! lol

I used to feel like that and I still love Fall but don't like Winter at all anymore and I always feel a surge of excitement when Spring arrives- the flowers, planting, being outdoors- love the possibilities and Summer follows which makes it fantastic!

Since I have started gardening, decades ago, Spring has always been my favorite season. I have been eagerly waiting for it since last Fall.

I know- gardening is so great for your mood and your health as well- it just makes you feel good and it's a chance to get outside. Plus it's so nice to see your plants thrive.

I like both seasons, they are different, but they have beautiful colors. Spring is more interesting because it's the time to start gardening.

Yes and it puts me in a great mood- I really don't like Winter anymore and that's probably the reason!

I have always loved spring, for the exact same reasons you mentioned. Always have. Always will. It's such a beautiful rebirth of nature.

I like spring and autumn. Our winters aren't as severe as yours and we'll have a fair share of nice days. Summers are hot and probably my least favourite but now I'm not working I don't usually have to go out in the heat.

@JudyEv You'd have planting and then harvest- hahaha! No growing time - a very fast turnover!

Okay it's a done deal- let's ask for just Spring and then Fall in rotation and then we don't have to be too cold or too hot again! Plus we'll save a tank on heating and air conditioning!

Because we have only 2 seasons here in my country, I love rainy days.

Yes, I don't mind the rain at all- just if it never ends and the odd week it feels that way.

I also used to be a Fall person but I think I like Spring better. It announces months of nice warm weather, longer days and sunshine. Even though Fall has it's beautiful colors it just leads into months of dreariness (with the exception of all the holidays)

You and me both Marilyn - Fall used to be my fave- but I don't like winter at all anymore and could live in the South after Christmas for sure so happy to see the approach of the warmer months.
