I am very happy today. The 16 year old boy who had been learning Trigonometry from me for last four months has fetched the highest marks in the subject in his class tests. The boy's mother is happy with me.She has invited me for dinner tonight.Yesterday when she came to invite me,it took me no time to realise that she was not ready to take 'no' as an answer. So I accepted the invitation.Tonight I'll dine at their home.

@TiarasOceanView,Thanks,my friend. The truth is that the boy himself was very eager to help himself. He worked hard and followed all my instructions, did the homework I used to give him regularly and thus made it easy for me to help him.Honestly speaking, the credit goes to the boy,my friend.

@Marilynda1225,Thanks,dear friend.Actually the credit goes to the boy who has a very receptive mind.He was eager to learn and so learned more than what I taught him.

That's wonderful - and very kind of the mother. You must be a very good tutor for your pupil to get such good marks. Will it help you get more students - if you want them?

@JudyEv,Thanks.No,my friend, actually it is just the other way round. The credit should go to the boy who was a very good student. He concentrated on his studies and learned everything I taught to him.I am not a professional teacher. His mother requested me to teach Trigonometry to her son,and I agreed.

@else34 Even a good student needs a teacher who can explain things well.

@yashvino,Thanks.The boy, too, was extremely poor in the subject.I tried to explain the whole concept to him,and was fortunate for the boy grasped it properly. It was due to his labour that my efforts did not go waste. He deserves the credit.

I have a gram like that, and an eldar friend, there is no point saying no, it's not worth the argument. Trig huh? I liked it, but was not good at it. Then again, I had a not so good teacher, AND he gave me the creeps. so I didn't want to spend time alone with him or anything.

@Jessicalynnt,Here in my town also there are many students who are poor in trigonometry.I have noticed that they do not understand the meanings of 'sine',cosine, tangent, cotangent etc.It was the same problem with this boy.I explained to him the whole concept in easy to understand words, and he grasped it.It was his concentration on studies that led him to success. He laboured hard.

@babaraimc,Yes,I would like to teach other students also, but presently I have no time. All my daytime is spent at my workplace, and by the time my duty gets over,I am worn to a frazzle.
