Our fire department is having a dance in April to raise awareness and raise money for the fire department.
They are selling tickets for the raffle now.
They have a lot of good prizes such as a Toro Zero turn mower 50", $500 gift card at Runnings, $1,8000 gift certificate at the appliance store, 3-$500 gas certificates and a number of $100 gift certificates.
Those are really some good items to be won.
I am hoping to be one of the lucky ones.

@Marcyaz $20 is not a bad price at all, considering the value of the prizes to be won!
I always like when charities raffle off a new house, and sell limited tickets for $100 each. It makes it worth the price for the raffle ticket considering the value of the prize. Same thing when cars or boats are raffled off.

Nope that price is not bad at all as they have 1500 tickets to sell and 30 prizes so it makes the price for the raffle a good deal besides it is for a good cause and considering these are volunteers they could use the proceeds.

That's pretty cool. Our fire department takes donations on the 4th of July by standing by the three gates. Last year the poor firepersons got soaked in the rain.
