What Do You See?

What do you see in the picture here? Do you see an older cabin sitting in a wooded area empty and abandoned with a well manicure lawn? Do you think of it as a summer vacation retreat?
I look at this cabin and see it as a home that has been empty for a bit and is coming into it's own with a little loving care. Look at it, the love has already begun. The grass is mowed and the porch is swept clean.
I see myself living there complete with two rocking chairs on the porch for my husband and myself. About 100 yards or so from the edge of the porch is a middle sized lake with a dock and a boat tied to it just waiting for us to take it for a ride.
I image us sitting on that porch having coffee and watching the sky give us a show at sunset with it's myriad collections of color. It's beautiful.
To the side of the house is a beautiful forest of trees perfect to shade us during our daily walk through the woods.
I see contentment and peace. What do you see?

I can see it as a weekend getaway for my husband and I. It would also be perfect for a week away from the hecticness of life.

What I see is someones home. Nice and neat as a pin. In a lovely area with forest and probably access to a lot of food all around. I see peace and pride too.

I can visualise a green thumb would soon be there at work producing a beautiful garden with all the other paraphernalia ideal for a retired couple.

This house looks old and abandoned with no people living in, but with your imaginative description, it becomes alive again. Love the scenes you described in the picutre. If it could be repainted or redecorated, it would be a nice place to live in for its great location in the woods offering tranquil green. It is a pleasure to read this discussion with those description. I wish I would live such a life after my retirement.
