My Hero: Part 3

Continued from previous post. Devin goes to school now, but I do not. I do not like school because I have to wait for Devin to get home. I watch cartoons, but Devin knows the best cartoons and I do not. He likes G.I. Joes, but my mom won’t let him watch it if I am around, so sometimes he tells me to go to my room and wait. I always do what Devin says. When it is warm my Nana tells us to go outside, because we won’t be able to when it’s cold. When it is cold my Nana puts big coats on us and sends us outside. My Grandpa built his whole backyard. There are rocks lining many paths that wander through the backyard. We are not allowed to play on the rocks, only the paths. There are a bunch of woods behind the house, but my grandpa did not build them. They were there even when my dad was twelve. We are not allowed to go into the woods, but when I am twelve I will go into them and have an adventure. One time my Nana cut a path through the bushes for us to play in. It was fun, but when she scrubbed the sap off of us it hurt. We did not go back into the bushes. To be continued...
