Help ! Decorating The Living Room

As my title says HELP. We have decided on the colour of the paint work , ceiling which will be white. Now we have to choose the wallpaper and that's where the problem arrises . He likes one and I like something else.
In all fairness I chose everything in the kitchen and he went along with it. So unless his choice is really dreadful I will let him have his own way. Wish me luck and take pity on my poor husband who will have to match the wallpaper up under my watchful eye of course.

No our kitchen wallpaper has pots and pans on it. So we cannot use it in the living room. We have chosen the wallpaper after a bit of a tussle. 
now we are getting the room ready. No we have lived here for over 30 years. We go through this every ten years. How some people decorate every couple of years defies logic. We would have divorced by now Ha Ha.
