How many of you would like to be a vegetarian? or already vegetarian?

I don't really remember exactly but it is around 10 years now I quitted non-veg food.
Initially it was tempting when I see non-veg foods like butter chicken or kabab in front of me but after sometime I was able to hold my craving for non-veg food.
I did that for the sake of poor animals. I felt it is too bad to eat them when you have other options to eat something else.
Yes I also quitted eggs once but started again due to gym and it is very easy and quick to make an omelette within a few minutes. So, when my mom gets bored of making veg dishes she makes omelette.
Also I love omelette, so really never wanna quit it again.
What about you?

I eat meat. I have thought about not eating meat but if I did, I would still eat eggs and cheese.

I also am vegetarian (15 years in November) doing it for the same reasons. I was 10 when I started and like you it was tempting for a while at first to avoid meat. Nowdays I do not crave it, and it is kind of disturbing to be by someone who is cooking it(its not their fault, Im just weird about it!) I also did it for the animals. But i cannot quit cheese or eggs - both are simply too delicious. Good job on your 10 years!!!

Nice to hear that you are following this from 15 years. Yeh I also cannot bear the smell of fishes and chickens now when my mom cooks it.

I don't want to be a vegetarian but I don't eat larger animals than chicken. I prefer more veggies and fish though.

I think being a vegetarian is admirable, but I don't think I could do it. Too many of my common meals revolve around meat!

I have been a vegetarian since I was 7. I am 32 now. I am the only vegetarian in my family. Actually I am the only one I know at all! I do eat cheese, milk and eggs though. I could never be a vegan it is to strict for me. I love omelets like you! It is hard to find vegetarian meals when I am out of the home. At home the same vegetarian meals all the time gets boring as well. My son eats meat but my daughter is a vegetarian as well.

I have tried being a vegetarian in the past. It lasts for aabout a month and then I get serious meat cravings. Some days I do not eat meat though.
