Ten Things About Me (That I'm Not Sure If I Should Tell You, But I'm Telling You Anyway)

I got the idea from @WorDazza, who was inspired by another user to do just that, so that means we got this from that other user. But anyway, since I just finished my tea and I still can't sleep, I might as well do this given my attention deficit disorder. I may have done this before, but if ever I have, I don't know if this would be the same list. Okay, enough with the intro. Here goes: 1. I am a mother to four beautiful kids (two boys, two girls). Starting it off like this might seem boring, but this is me: I am first and foremost, a mother. My kids are the center of my universe, and I do and will do everything for them, even at the expense of my own happiness. 2. I am in my mid-thirties. But because I hang around with my kids and my younger staff a lot, I feel ten years younger. Sometimes my eldest sound more mature than me. I still dig Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Arianna, and I still watch Spongebob. 3. I love music. I only hope that one day music will also love me back. The kind of music that I listen to depends on my mood: when I hate the world, I head-bang to LIVE's I Alone; when I want to hurt myself, I listen to Celine Dion's I Love You, Goodbye. 4. I love to dance. I was a ballerina as a child. I want to try ballet jazz now and learn how to dance Love Me Like You Do like Maddie Ziegler. 5. I graduated as the class valedictorian in high school. I earned my college degree from our country's top university. I have two master's degrees. I married a random phone caller who did not finish college and was unemployed for the most part of his life. They say bright girls are stupid when it comes to love. 6. I only drink two kinds of alcoholic drinks: beer and tequila. So if you want to knock me unconscious, you know what to do. I was drunk when I first talked to my would-be husband. 7. I'm not good at managing my finances. The reason why I work hard is because I need to earn more to spend more. I don't know how to save. (save? that's a weird word.) I will hire a financial manager, if only I can afford one. 8. I am a Scorpio. I am passionate yet shrewd -- except for matters of the heart. I am easily bored so I tend to complicate many things and make my life harder, hence, the incredible amount of stress that I deal with on a day-to-day basis. A very honest person once told me that I am manipulative and deceptive. Funny, I took that as a compliment. 9. I write to live. Even if I don't need money, I still write because this is how I express myself. I hope one day I can publish my own book and get someone to read it, aside from myself. 10. I am like Mentos. Hard on the outside, but soft inside. Unfortunately, I come on too strong to many people. Imagine being appointed as the head of our disaster rescue team. Heck, that's a man's job! They say that's because I can "mobilize" men. Although many times, I also want to feel fragile and weak, and experience how it is to be rescued, preferably by a knight in shining armor that looks like Channing Tatum. But nah, I don't believe in fairy tales.

Oh did I create that impression? He's still very much alive. Lol. They say we're happily married: he's happy and i'm married.

Ah I'm not really sure if I'm a passionate lover though. But hey, I'm glad that we're both hard on the outside but soft and chewy inside

@yalul070 we are passionate and compassionate lovers/friends, my beautiful lady. I read it somewhere that we are sensual, we stick to one (and die for all! hahaha), and our sensuality is in our hips or how we walk. our eyes are the mirrors of our souls. Do you agree with me?

I feel like i knew you personally after reading these 10 things about you . One thing we have in common is that i am also hard on the outside but soft inside . As some employees would say as first impression of me , is that they are afraid of me . But once they get to know me , they would say i am kind . Kind ! ? Well i guess i am .

@yalul070 Resting face , it's the first time i have heard of that . What do you call that in Tagalog ? Mataray ? Well, as for me , i am approachable because i have a smiling face , which i practiced since i have a "mataray " face " maybe because of my make-up. Though , some would say i am " mataray " , because sometimes i can go snappy specially when they seem to be in a hurry for me to acknowledge their business with me . And besides , i can be brutally frank sometimes .

maybe it's a first impression. there is this term but I was warned not to say it, but it's a "resting (bad word) face." that makes me unapproachable to people who don't know me.

I want to know more about your book of course. As for music we will get along. I like music and often write something with music going on in the background. My problem or not a problem if you play a musical instrument is to listen to the same song many times.

@yalul070 Mostly now music happens from my computer. Practice with a song on guitar is over and over. When playing someone asks me how long you been playing how can say a thousand times? I don't know about finding the time. Time management and devotion to writing it? Just do it?

Great! Now I have two readers of my future book! Now, how do I find time to write it if I MyLot on my free time? I can listen to one song over and over again. Before, when we used to have cassette tapes, I bought an album that only had two songs - one song in side A, and another song in side B. I would play it in my continuously playing radio in the dorm until I fall asleep. I didn't mind that at all but my dorm-mates did lol!

I think the word is "strategic" not "manipulative".. unfortunately most strategic leaders have been accursed of being "manipulative".

@Drosophila hahaha men are so simple, they're boring. just kidding. I don't intend to start a fight here. as a matter of fact, men are very important. without them, women will not be able to propagate their superior genes now I really want to start reading the book you suggested.

@yalul070 lol! right! then that's that.. xD but ya generally strategic people has always been accused of being manipulative. the key difference is the integrity involved ofc. but ya, I've always led men.. they are easier to deal with than women. So I've found xD

That is why I'm not getting my pay outs from the online sites like mylot. I have already done the spending here and there. I've learned my lesson so now Im saving again this year, with the site earnings. I don't want to spent more unless it's what I need or my dogs needs.

Nothing wrong with Spongebob. Can't say the same about your musical taste though Just because your husband isn't highly educated doesn't make you stupid in love. I'm sure he has a lot of qualities that make him a good husband and friend to you. Why else would you be married to him???

Ah I forgot that part -- I got pregnant. I was about to enter law school when I forgot to be careful. But we're good. I never became a lawyer (thank goodness), but he's actually a good dad to my kids. For me that's enough to stay married. LIVE is my favorite rock band since college. Everytime I listen to it I feel like I'm in a trance. And Celine Dion is, well, Celine Dion. But actually only two of her songs can actually tear me into pieces: I Love You Goodbye and It's All Coming Back. Wait, are you talking about Bieber and One Direction?

#2. I'm also in my 30s. #5. We're the same. I was never lucky in my past relationships. I was always reminded by my parents to use my head. Sometimes, I just forget it. #8. We're both Scorpio! I was once labelled by an ex-boyfriend as controlling. #10. That was also my first impression of you. I saw that in how you write and comment. Still, I see you as friendly and reasonable, a writer at that!

This is fun! Now we get to know a little about each other. #2. You've got to be kidding me! You look younger. #5. The heart never learns, my friend. #8. Manipulative! So it's true -- this is a Scorpio trait. #10. Really? I was hoping to project myself as sweet and helpless -- a damsel in distress. Guess I failed again

@yalul070 I'm 32. I won't like you if you are sweet and helpless - damsel in distress. No way! I like it that you appear to me and to others as too strong. It's an excellent trait!
