Do You Wear Gloves in the Bath?

Until recently the idea of wearing gloves in the bath would have seemed laughable to me. Then everything changed and now I wear gloves in the bath. What changed? Well my friend Sueznewz2 bought my hubby and I a pair of bath gloves each. Hubby's gloves are a fetching blue colour and mine sparkling white. The material that the gloves are made from is similar to the material used in the green pan scouring squares. These gloves are just what you need to get rid of the top layer of dead skin cells. The gloves work like an excellent exfoliant. They work so much better than those scrunchy things, and they leave the skin all pink and feeling great. So in answer to my own question, yes I do wear gloves in the bath. Do any of You wear gloves in the bath too or is it just me?

I have seen these in stores but only ever gave them a dirty look :p I think I might get some for my boyfriend though because hes always itchy and he likes using a cloth or puff in the shower

Yes, I usually wear the same gloves that you described, but from yesterday I am wearing a lattice glove to protect a hand that I have pretty seriously burned. This is annoying.

A good flannel is probably easier to use in any case...?

@pgntwo A flannel is easy to use but the gloves are far more effective, and you don't have to wear them all the time you are in the bath lol...

@marlina The gloves are a good idea, and excellent when it comes to the hard skin on the heels.

No it's not just you - it's Malcolm as well! I've never heard of this - I could understand if you used them on the rough skin on your heels, but I would have thought that pan scourer material would be too harsh for other areas.

@jaboUK The green scouring squares are the closest I could come to describing the material, but in reality they are nowhere near as harsh as the scourers. As you rightly say they are excellent when using on areas of rough skin.

@sueznewz2 I know it is not the same material, it is a lot less harsh. But that is the closest material that I could compare it to. I love them Sue :D
