I am so glad we went to Bible Study tonight. We almost didn't go due to some bad news about my husband's job. He is getting laid off. We were a little stressed about that before church. But we went to Bible Study and the message was all about not getting down about your worries and having faith that God always has a plan. Pastor also said God has us where He wants us and He will use where we are to glorify the Kingdom of God. Words my husband and I needed to hear today...
With faith all things are possible, so we know God has a better plan for us.

I am so sorry to hear this bad news Lovings.
I thought he worked for himself..guess I was mistaken.
This is a matter of faith much needed for sure.
Somehow though, us humans will always worry and stress about it of course with good reason
And how is the lovely baby Julian doing?
I am glad that bible study was helpful to you.
What will you husband do now?
I hope God will provide for you all and give you the strength.

@TiarasOceanView Thank you. He used to work for himself in NC but not since we moved to FL. We will be praying a whole lot and staying in the word to get through this. We know we will be okay.
Julian is doing okay, he's in pain tonight-for some reason his pain is always worse at night.
My husband is looking for another job and praying a lot.

@LovingMyBabies Poor little child..if only I could hold him to try to take his pain away I would do it.
Yes you will get through it, but I understand this stress Lovings. I pray all Gods mighty blessings come your way ...very soon.

Praise God for that my friend. It happened with me too. I believe God draws us more closer when time are sad in our lives.
When sadnes weighs too much on us that our knees bend and touch the floor, remember it's the perfect time to pray. God is in control of your life, your husband's job and your future. Be secure in Him. God bless.

@sugartoes Yeah we have worked really hard to get here. We have been praying a lot and he has 2 job opportunities that he is deciding between, one pays better but one is closer to home. So we are going to pray for Gods will to be done. =)

How wonderful that God was able to speak to you so clearly! So many people are not open to the Word of God and think that God has abandoned them. When we keep ourselves open, God can readily speak to each of us. I will keep your husband in my prayers, that a job comes his way very soon!

@Crk109 Thank you for the prayers. The easy thing to do is to give up and be angry. We choose the harder route-having faith that God will give him another job. =)

Things I like to think about in times like these are Ecclesiasties 4:11 and Philippians 4:19. :)

I'm sure things will work out even though you probably didn't need to hear your husband is being laid off
