I wanted to thank everyone for your wonderful words of advice and support on a post I wrote a couple days ago about my depression. I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful support system.
Everyone here has been so nice to me even though you don't have to be. I appreciate you all so much. And I love all the friendships I have made here.
As far as how I am doing. My depression is still here although I am making plans for the days ahead. This week has been a little off for me as I have been off of work from my main job. So my schedule has been off. I have spent my days sitting at home in front of the computer. And although I am making money, this isn't healthy for me.
The weather is going to warm up next week, so I plan to get out and start walking again. I have already found a place in my schedule so I have no excuses in trying to find time to do it.
I have also have other plans for other self improvement projects.
So making plans for the future gives me hope and makes things look a little brighter....
So thank you all again. And I will continue to keep you posted

Yay keeping yourself busy and enjoying the weather is good. I am trying to make some improvements! Tomorrow - I am going to go on a little hike and get away from home, and being on my computer too! Though I have been out of town all day today.. sat in the car for like 4 hours.

Always good to try and plan for the future and what you are wanting to do.
Be positive, remember the start of the year.

I also plan to get out more but today the snow has hit us unexpectedly.
Glad you are feeling a bit more chipper my friend.
You are always welcome and indeed it is so good to have friends even if only online.

Hey, keep trying to come out of your depression. Whatever positive plans you have made act on them. Keep yourself busy with work that you really love. Get outdoors, take in some nature. Treat yourself for every little progress you make. surround yourself with people who really love and care for you. Be aware of your depressive thoughts and just try to shake them off by focusing on something that would make you feel good. Takes time but slowly and steadily things would improve. And yes, you are always welcome to share your feelings with mylotians, Cheer up.
