Not going to work today...

I was supposed to work today, but the director called five minutes or so ago, and said they're not going to need me because the amount of children there is so low. Like she said, it's probably because so many of the children's older siblings are out of school, and so they just kept their preschoolers home too. She reminded me that they're going to be needing me April First, and that they'll need me more after that, too. She also said that there was a check their for me from the last time I worked, and that one of the ladies that lives near me will bring it by. While I'm bummed that I won't be earning the money, I'm glad that I worn't get as worn out as I was anticipating. Since I'm not working, Mom wants me to go with her to her doctor appointment. It's to check her bladder for any signs of cancer, since she had kidney cancer a couple of years ago. She wants me there for "moral suppoort". She said she wants to go to the fabric store while we're in the town where she sees the doctor, too. Hope your day/etc. is going well.
