I was just reading a post, regarding the use of paragraphs and I totally agreed.
However, I think we can do more and the tools have been given to us. I notice that now, the tags are in bold colour at the head of our discussion when it's opened so for goodness sake make the best use of this tool. Use words that give life and vitality to your post.
Give some thought to your title too. I find most titles are just dull giving me no incentive whatsoever to read the discussion. Your title should receive as much care or more than your actual post. Dare people to open your discussion. Warmly invite them to read.
Tickle people's fancy. Have a go and have fun.

Oh yes, an eye catching title does help. I've not been here for many months and have in effect to almost start again. Currently I am just having a look at friend's posts and weighing in my 2 pennyworth if I think that they are interesting, or if I just want to say 'Hello" - in your case it's both! Now I need to find some catchy titles and subjects to write about.

Great ideology here. But I fear there may be more to it than using good titles and paragraphs. I've noticed a serious lacking of writing skills here and across the web. Regardless of why people have weak skills in this, it will be the source of "poor" titles, paragraphs and subject content. And of course "poor" tags.
Of course we cannot expect people to suddenly take up a course in proper English grammar just so they can be proficient here on MyLot and elsewhere. I think a compromise is thus required. As tough as it may be for many who are proficient in grammar, I suggest they try to get past the "poor" communication skills and try to absorb the content intended by the poster. And maybe tactfully insert or suggest better communication tactics in their responses. We can't all score 900 in English on the SAT, but we can all communicate effectively.

I know I know, I am horrible creating good titles, they didn't teach me that in school.
I also try to create good tags, but sometimes I forget. I'd like to read the post you shared, but it looks like there is another glitch, so I will have to find it by putting the title in the search bar.

@Carmelanirel2 How strange. If it's been deleted for some reason the this one may be soon gone as well.

Nope, can't find it. This is the reason I suggested putting @GoAskAlice and @Mylotbugs help links, along with what each one does, on our profile

Some posts can be easier on the eyes than others. Those ones that are do have an interesting title and short paragraphs.
