I have found some weird destinations, for people who like adventurous vacations. Islands of the Dolls (Isla de las Muñecas) - south of Mexico City, Mexico . Hundred of dolls are hanging from the trees. Some are decapitated, other are missing the limbs or are without the eyes. The legend says that, many years ago, a little girl was found drowned on the islands, soon after the dolls started to appear on the trees. The locals say that, during the night, some dolls move. It's probably a legend, but it's creepy. Bran Castle - Romania This castle is known as the Castle of Dracula, the famous Bram Stoker's vampire and it's set in the mountains of Transylvania. Even if you do not believe in vampires, the castle is a museum with secret passages and interesting views. Blood Waterfall - Victoria Land, East Antarctica The view is impressive, it looks like blood is flowing out from the ice. This is a natural phenomenon caused by a population of microbes and deposits of ferric oxides that, combined, created the blood effect. Make a search of these places, they are worth a look. Are you a lazy vacationer or would you like to visit one of these places?

@DianneN Also in Italy in some southern cities there are memorials along the roads. I have seen a couple also here not far from where we live.

I have often considered trying Dracula's Castle. I understand that it was originally the home of Vlad the Impaler. who I actually have great respect for despite his unjust reputation as being bloodthirsty.

I also would like to visit Dracula's Castle. Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia, was a member of the House of Dracule?ti. He was known for his brutality punishing his enemies, but he was surely not a vampire.

@Asylum That is how it worked in ancient times, if you were not ready to fight you would have not lasted very long.

@LadyDuck very true, but the ones who asked his support turned against him afterwards because they reared his tactics in battle.

I wouldnt mind seeing any of these fantastic places Anna. I would also like to see this place which is here in my own state:
The Early Years Let's talk about being Inspired. Young Jim Bishop in 1959 at the ripe old age of 15 paid four hundred and fifty dollars for a two and a half acre parcel of land enclosed on three sides by the majestic San Isabel National Forest in southern

I would not want to visit the Island of the dolls as that would just creep me out to bad seeing hundreds of dollars hanging around the trees. I would love to see Bran Castle and the Blood Waterfall. I actually did think it was blood in the photo until I read what is really is. It looks like where a seal was killed and eaten. Very interesting discussion!

I cannot count how many times we have been on an airplane, especially when we came to the United States several times a year for my husband job. I hate international flights, they are so long and boring.

I think it would be fun to visit the Castle of Dracula. Of course I don't believe but think it would be really interesting to go on a tour. As for the Island of the Dolls, I would pass on that one. Just too creepy.
