Being an indian , i am proud of my country and its diverse culture . The love for India is beyond my control . But whenever the word India comes to my mind , the first thing comes to my mind is that i would not like to be born anywhere else than India . So i want to ask you what comes to your mind when you hear the word India ? It maybe positive or negative. In this way maybe i can help you improve your thinking about my country

I dont know much about India myself. It seems like there is an interesting culture that I would like to learn more about. Please help with these myths or stereotypes Im going to share when I think of India. Hinduism (not sure if this is truly happening there), poverty or overpopulation in the biggest cities, big weddings? That is basically all. I do have to say recently I started shopping at an Indian grocery store and I fell in love with curry. Curried vegetables. Paneer dishes. Biyrani(sp) dishes. I love it all. So much more interesting than Amerixan food. By the way - I gave you my ideas. What is your idea about America/Americans? (Go ahead, I wont be offended!)

Okay firstly yes poverty is a problem of india but not in every city . Secondly the food here is amazing . Spicy but amazing . Thirdly american culture to me is all about higher economic growth , gordan ramsay ( as i watch masterchef us ) , and food . I particularly love the cleanliness of your country

@Lazyblogs oh! Almost forgot to ask. Are most people Hindi, Christian or something else? Or perhaps a mix of both?

I think what comes to my mind is huge gap between different classes. On one hand we have most of the richest people around the world from India, yet still 40% population under poverty line. But on positive note, what comes to my mind is globalization, education, food, culture, natural beauty,Bollywood and rich arts and music.

@Lazyblogs Yes, surely, India is creating lot of job opportunities lately, and we are looking for global jobs now, and the way stock market has gone up in last few years is certainly a trademark of growing economy. Moreover, India is now under better governance under Narendra Modi, so hopefully the graph will only go up from now.
