Beer, Mouthwash, and Epsom Salt

What do beer, mouthwash, and Epsom salt have in common? Probably nothing, but if you mix them together, you get a great mosquito repellent that doesn't harm plants, animals, humans, or the environment. Use 1 large bottle of (cheap) blue mouthwash, 3 cups of Epsom salt, and three stale 12 oz beers. Mix them together until the salt is dissolved and then spray on your lawn or deck. (Do not spray on open flowers). Mosquito just hate it.

We either do not have mosquitoes in this area or I am not out when they are around.

We could have done with this over summer. Our mosquito season was bad this year.

Write it down for next summer. Our Spring is just beginning here, and the mosquitoes are bad here too.

You can spray the green foliage, but it is not good for the flower itself. Shouldn't hurt vegetables @slund2041.

This sounds a really easy repellent and much better than all the poisonous stuff that is around.
