I got up to go to the kitchen toget something to eat, and when I go t back into the living room, I found her in my chair.
I don't know if she is trying to w arm it up or what, but it is common for her to sit on my chair whenever I get up out of it.
She also got groomed today too, so I guess she wants to show off for the camera.

Dogs tend to steal your chair after you get up. I guess they like how it's all warmed up for them.

@rina110383 Growing up there was a dog that would get on my bed and keep herself in a little ball between the wall and me. When she wanted the bed to herself she'd slowly uncurl, and then push me out of bed with one extension of her legs!
It was a mean trick she'd do often.

I think she thought that it was her chair, and that is why she got into it. She has done this before, but I have never been able to get a picture of her in it, as she would jump down, when she saw me pick up my iPhone to take her pictrure.

@TiarasOceanView She has done this before, but I have never been able to get a picture of her sitting in it, as she would jump down immediately when I grabbed my iPhone to take the picture. This tiem, she was just to comfortable to move.

@birjudanak She doesn't have a better half, but I do have another dog, that is her companion as well. They do get along pretty well, most of the time, except when the piom gets in her face, and then Sarah doesn't like that, and will snap at her. Thank goodness, they don't fight.

She is a pugzu, which is a shihtzu and pug mix. She has the face and tail of a pug, but the body of a shishtzu. I got her at the humane shelter, and when I saw her, I knew that I was going to get her.. It is so funny when she gets into muy chair though as she doesn't like to be told she has to get out of it, so I just leave her alone, and when I am ready to sit down in it, she jumps down.

@HazySue I am so glad that I adopted Sarah as well. I am not sure if she had been abused or not, but when she was picked up, she was wondering along the interstate we have here. She certainly could have got killed. I am glad she didn't, as I am glad I went to the shelter, and adpted her.

@rosekiss she is adorable. Our little puggle was the best dog we ever had. She came to us via our vet. She had been severely abused and he ended up with her. He called us and asked us if we would take her. We have been eternally glad that we did.

The trick is to get them to move once they take over your spot. My cats growl at me. LOL

She is several years old, but as to her exact age, it is hard to say, as I got her from the shelter, and at that time, they thought she was about 2, and I have had her almost 4 years, so if that is true, then she would be almost 6 years old. I got her because she is full size and won't grow anymore.

I bet it was. My dogs sleep in their own beds, as I can't havew them sleeping with me, especially, Sarah, as she will sleep right up against me, and I can't move. They wouild rather sleep in their own beds anyway, as they are used to it.

It is, and I think that is why she likes to sit in it. She can be a litle hard to get out of it too, but she eventually does give me my chair. She is my baby, and I love her.

I think she felt it was ther throrne too. I didn't bother trying to make her get up out of it, until I was ready to sit back down in it, as she will growl if I try to make her get out of it to soon.

My dog when I had him loved to steal my chair...now the cat does it..Hmmm, the animals always seem to forget they have their own beds.

I think you are right, as I do have a bed on the floor in the living room, but I think in a way, she would rather be in my chair whenever she can. She does sleep in the bed quite often though, as well as the couch too.

Oh thank you. I think she is too. When I first saw her at the shelter, I just knew I had to have her. I have had her almost 4 years come next month. She has sure been a faithful companion too.

Thank you. When I saw her sitting there, I just had to take her picrure as she looked so cute sitting in the chair. I left her in the chair until I was ready to sit back down, and then she got out of it.
