Here we are in jolly old England enjoying a brief respite from the rain, the hail, wind and snow..er no, no snow here so far this year; well we did have a very brief flurry, but nothing serious. Anyway, yesterday was cold and bitter for most of the day, then in the late afternoon the sun came out and it was beautiful. So wondrous was this that the sun hung about until this morning and so far, it's now 2pm, it's been very warm indeed. That is due to change apparently, however, in the meantime I have walked the dog and got home absolutely boiling hot! Apparently the weather is going to cool down again for the Easter weekend, but how sneaky of Mr Sunshine to pop out to remind us that he's (might be she's) still up there and warm as toast.

Is it really always cold in England? I saw below that your Summer has seventy degree days and forty degree nights. That is like our Spring and Fall. What is Winter like, then?
