The big question of today is Who is best batsman of the cricketing history ? Is it Ricky Ponting with his splashing series of centuries which he struck against every team of the world or it is Sachin Tendulkar who has sturck max number of 100s in ODIs and test matches with his master blaster tag or it is Brian Lara who has highest runs in Test matches in his kitty or someone from the buddy list like Sehwag, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Rahul Dravid, Kallis, Peterson, Inzmam or who ?
Tell me your comments on who do you think will be the match winner in the coming world cup and the best batsman in the cricket history.

according to the records Sachin is the best batsman, but counting the techniques and game plans definetly there are better players than Sachin tendulkar.

same here. when sachin was at the height of his brilliance i dont think anybody would have dared to post this topic. but now that he has mellowed with age i think he is not playing that good andhence these debates. but anyways sachin is THE best. brian lara follows close.

According to me it was very difficult to decide between sachin and don bradman because they both are equally good and important foe their team. If u ask me about this question i think i will go with sachin because he is the pride of my country and i have watching him only batting as compared to bradman.

Record says its Sachin Tendulakar with maximum runs and tons under his belt. It is a fact and no one can deny it. Some people will contradict me saying that Indian cricket had won very few matches when Sachin scores. He never drive us to victory. But my dear friend there are 10 more players in a team. And as cricket is a team game. All have to perform.
For an example: Lets take World Cup 2003 Sachin has scored maximum number of runs and helps India to reach the final. Upto semifinals he has scored heavily against all the teams with his tons, 90's, 80's. Let us not forget, his scored every runs is for India. Sometimes it help India to set a target, sometimes it helps to chase the target. He is always there for India.
Hats off to master blaster. Sir you are the greatest cricketer in the history of world cricket.

To me sachin tendulkar...He made billion people beleive he can win the game on his own for the country when team game was reduced to one man show....only a champion can do that...

i think that sachin is the best batsman if it comes to record books. But ricky ponting has made his team victorious more times without breaking any records.

i think sachin is gr8... technically as well as on the basis of records....
he is having maximum no. of century ...highest runs in one day... and many... untouchable records...
but still there are many batsmen who are technically sound...
but sachin is sachin no one can chase him...
ricky ponting is doing well but he also admire sachin as best batsman....

No doubt that the best batsman can be none other than Rahul Dravid.... he may not be the highest century scorer but there is none in the cricketing history to match his consistency, form and techniques....
The indian wall is really strong enough and can be leaned on whenever needed.....
