Getting up does not mean being awake!

Whenever a storm is coming, be it snow or something like a hurricane, I can't sleep. No matter how tired I am, I just toss and turn. Such was the case last night when a snow storm was supposedly coming our way.
At some point after the sun came up, I fell asleep. The big snow storm never came. We did get a little bit of snow but nothing to talk about. At some point this afternoon, I woke up and pulled myself out of bed. First thing I needed was coffee, and since the pot was empty, I began making a new one.
While I was filling the pot with water, the microwave began beeping. I looked at it and couldn't imagine what was going on! So I opened the microwave and there was a breakfast sandwich I'd put in to heat up just moments before. Apparently, I was so tired (and very much not awake) that I'd already forgotten something I had just done! lol
Has this ever happened to you? Sure made me want to go back to bed! (but I did not)

I am sure something like that has. I often can't keep myself straight.

How I wish I could do that. Once i'm in the new apartment, maybe I'll feel safer and be able to sleep better.

It is strange when this happens. You might have absolutely no recollection of doing something but the evidence is undeniable.

I think we all do something like that on occasion. I'm a fairly light sleeper, though there are times when I am so tired I sleep much deeper. Hope you have a blessed evening

I wish I slept better when storms are coming. I'm moving soon and perhaps that will make a difference. Time will tell. :)
