What sounds do you fall asleep to?

This is interesting for me to think about, as I am getting ready for sleep, hunkering down so I can wake up at 415 tomorrow. I realize I have become super accustomed to certain sounds, having lived in a very close place to where I grrw up.
When I go to sleep, I am hearing trains. About 4 blocks away from the tracks. Its very soothing actually, unless they are honking their horn (or whatever you call it) - then I am awake and concerned that theres a person they are about to hit (probably not true).
Another one is sirens. Police, fire department or ambulances must use a road not too far from me, because it has turned into this music. Whenever I go camping, its such a shock to hear bugs and silence rather than cars driving, sirens and trains.
What about you? What are the noises you fall asleep to? Do you ever think about this like me??

My area is very quiet.
The only noise is wind and rain and sometimes cats running on the flat roof above my room.

@Mike197602 That wasnt even a one liner. Good try though. (Next time just respond "yes" -- lol!). Does the wind really howl? Is quiet a good thing for you or maddening?

@maezee I wrote more and it just wouldn't post and even C&P'd the response when I realised there were issues but it still wouldn't go up so I wrote a smaller response and no problems with that
When the wind blows here it's really loud and I don't mind that.
I live near the centre of a smallish city with 125,000 people and did think it'd be louder here but it isn't.
I grew up in the country and loved the quiet.
I'd find it hard to sleep living in a noisy place.

our house is surrounded by trees, away from the road and neighbors. the only thing that i hear at night is the insect sounds from the trees. i dont find it music to my ear though. sometimes our dog barks when he gets another dog visitor which is a bit annoying haha he just wont stop unless we make him..

Sometimes I hear sirens. Most times I don't hear much at all. I have sleep apnea, so I have a cpap machine that I use and the sound of the machine sometimes helps me fall asleep. I especially love when there is a fan or air conditioner going. Those sounds definitely help me sleep. :)

I've been here in my place for 5 yrs now. It's a silent & peaceful neighborhood. I've been used to it and the lack of noise makes me sleep.
I think I won't be able to sleep with a noise because I'm not used to it.

i just put on my headphones and listen to music, mostly slow beat music, but i can still sleep even if its a hard rock metal as long as its music.

I don't usually think about it, since i always put on a show or a movie on my computer to fall asleep. But my cats do make some noise. Sometimes they just sleep with me, other times they start running and jumping, and i have a fat cat (6kgs) and wood floors, so it makes a lot of noise and it's annoying. Also I live next to the airport so I can hear them sometimes, i don't know what they are doing, testing the engines or something. It's really loud and hard to fall asleep to that noise.
